Assistance may include the administration or supervision of medication when needed, or certain personal care services by a trained and skilled staff person with great care. Alight Senior Placement will help to find the assisted living providers that will treat you with the utmost care, respect, understanding and the meeting of your needs with the highest level of health care treatment based on those needs. Accommodations and options may vary greatly from one assisted living community to the next (ex. private rooms, private baths, shared rooms and baths, suites, kitchenettes, etc.) so it is very important to work with an advisor like us so that we can help align your wishes and priorities with the right living community based on your personal needs and preferences.

Memory Care.

When it comes to a specialized memory care home, it takes a truly especially gifted, patient and compassionate type of assistance and team. Not only must you have highly skilled nurses and staff, but this extremely caring and attentive staff and team in place is crucial to effectively care for their patients who struggle with memory related challenges. Alight Senior Placement understands which facilities are the best equipped to handle this task.

Memory care is a kind of specialized care for people living with Alzheimer’s and other forms of Dementia. Communities typically feature safe and advanced secure environments where team members and staff can closely monitor the health and whereabouts of the residents. You’ll also find programs, activities, and events that are designed to help and encourage memory care residents work on their cognitive abilities to exercise their minds, while also getting to enjoy passions and hobbies. The Staff in these units are typically specially trained to provide the elevated more focused care needed for residents with memory loss.

Whether you or a loved one is at the early stages of Alzheimer's / Dementia, or further on down the road, working with Alight Senior Placement and taking these steps into this particular specialized care process to find the right memory care facility is of the utmost importance. For me this process and journey through memory care is especially close to my heart, as I have walked this road in my own life 3 times, so I am personally invested and empathetic to be the best advocate and liaison for you and loved one.
